MSI PIs Receive 2022 Grants From Minnesota Partnership

MSI PIs are among the researchers who have received grants from the Minnesota Partnership for Biotechnology and Medical Genomics. PIs head three of the five projects that received research grants for 2022.

    • Manipulating natural killer cell signaling to enhance immunotherapy 
  • Kai Miller (Mayo Clinic); Matthew Johnson (Biomedical Engineering)
    • An intraoperative stylet-based electrode array for mapping subcortical brain regions
  • Vijay Shah (Mayo Clinic); William Pomerantz (Chemistry)
    • Lead optimization of a novel epigenetic inhibitor series for alcoholic hepatitis therapy

The Minnesota Partnership is a collaboration between the University of Minnesota, the Mayo Clinic, and the state of Minnesota. It was established in 2003 and is dedicated to using the combined knowledge, resources, and expertise of the University of Minnesota and Mayo Clinic to advance health care and scientific discoveries, especially for the people of Minnesota.
