Project Title:
Natural Killer Cell Differentiation and Function

This group is focused on the mechanisms driving human natural killer (NK) cell differentiation and functional maturation. They have several projects with a translational focus, including analyses of cells from patients receiving injections of NK cells expanded in the presence of nicotinamide and analyses of iPSC-derived NK cells for immunotherapy. Additionally, they are working to identify the role of the transcription factor Bcl11b in driving NK cell differentiation at the transcriptional and epigenetic levels.
