MSI PI Andrew Odlyzko (Mathematics) was featured on KARE-11 television recently in a story about Bitcoin, the digital currency. You can see the story on the KARE-11 website: Breaking Down Bitcoin.
Professor Odlyzko uses MSI for projects in number theory and for a study of internet traffic trends. He was the founding director (2001-2008) of the Digital Technology Center and was the Interim Director of MSI during 2006-2008.
