In order to meet the high-capacity storage needs of its users, MSI has deployed an OpenStack-based cloud platform called Stratus. Stratus is designed so that users can store and analyze protected data, such as dbGaP (database of Genomes and Phenotypes).
Graham Allan, an HPC Systems Administrator at MSI, will present a talk about MSI’s experiences deploying Stratus at the OpenStack Summit in Vancouver, BC, Canada, on May 21, 2018. The abstract for this talk is available on the Summit website: Lessons Learned in Deploying OpenStack for HPC Users.
The website Superuser has designated this talk as a “must-see session.”
