MSI PIs Participate in U Grand Challenge Curriculum

Four of the spring semester’s Grand Challenge courses are being taught by MSI Principal Investigators. The Grand Challenge Curriculum is designed to bring a solution-driven, interdisciplinary approach to learning while addressing global issues.

The website of the Office of Undergraduate Education has the complete description of courses being offered in the Spring 2016 Grand Challenge Curriculum. An article about the program appeared in the [St. Paul] Pioneer Press.

Edited to add: Minnesota Public Radio ran a story about this Grand Challenges Curriculum on February 24. Professor Jason Hill (Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering), an MSI PI who taught one of the courses during the Fall 2015 semester, is quoted.
