MSI PI Tiffany Wolf (assistant professor, Veterinary Population Medicine) has been named the U of M 2021 President’s Community-Engaged Scholar. She was recognized for her collaborative work with the Anishanaabe and Dakota tribes in Minnesota as she studies chronic wasting disease and other issues affecting the health of Minnesota wildlife. Professor Wolf uses MSI for research into brainworm, a parasite that is contributing to the decline of the Minnesota moose population.
