MSI PI Sylia Wilson (assistant professor, Institute of Child Development) has received the 2020 Susan Nolen-Hoeksema Early Career Research Award. This award, presented by the Society for a Science of Clinical Psychology, is given to an outstanding early-career research scientist who has provided exceptional contributions to the science of clinical psychology in one or more content areas, such as groundbreaking conceptual or theoretical approaches to a problem, innovative methodological contributions, or highly significant and impactful empirical findings.
Professor Wilson uses MSI for studies of twins and families to determine the risks for and consequences of psychopathology and the brain.
