MSI PI Ramaswamy Named a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers

Professor Shri Ramaswamy, MSI PI and Head of the Department of Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering, has been elected a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). AIChE is the world’s leading organization for chemical engineering professionals.

Professor Ramaswamy uses MSI for visualization and characterization of the three dimensional bulk structure of biomaterials using non-invasive techniques such as X-ray computed tomography.
