MSI PI Peter Reich, a Regents Professor in the Department of Forest Resources (College of Food, Agricultural, and Natural Resource Sciences), is featured in a story about using the University Libraries’ University Digital Conservancy. Professor Reich studies how climate change affects ecosystems, especially those of central North America. He has used MSI resources for many years; his group is currently developing new global land models that will use an approach based on plant traits, as opposed to existing models that are based on plant function. Professor Reich is also a project lead at the Institute on the Environment.
