MSI PI David Tilman, a Regents Professor in the Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior and Director, Cedar Creek Ecosystem Science Reserve, has been elected as a foreign member of the prestigious Royal Society of London. The Royal Society was founded in 1660 and is dedicated to promoting excellence in science.
Professor Tilman uses MSI to support studies of broad patterns in the diversity, structure, and dynamics of ecosystems. The Tilman group is currently using MSI resources to run algorithms to detect causal signals in complex ecosystem dynamics.
