MSI PI Craig Packer Featured in Book About Wildlife Conservationists

MSI PI Craig Packer (Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior; Institute on the Environment) is featured in a new book about wildlife conservationists (Wild Lives: Leading Conservationists on the Animals and the Planet They Love, by Jori Robinson and Janie Chodosh). The website Outside Online describes several of the people in the book, including Professor Packer: These wildlife conservationists haven’t given up hope.

Professor Packer uses MSI resources to store and organize millions of images taken by camera traps in Tanzania as part of the citizen-science project Snapshot Serengeti.
