MSI PI Brenda Ogle Named BME Head

Professor Brenda Ogle, an MSI PI from the Department of Biomedical Engineering, has been named head of the department. This promotion takes effect on July 1, 2019. An article about Professor Ogle and her research can be found on the BME website.

Professor Ogle uses MSI in support of studies that seek to understand the hybrid cells that can form in transplanted organs. The Ogle research group uses RNA-sequencing to understand these hybrids and their potential benefits and detriments.
