Lab Medicine and Pathology Department to Participate in New National Serological Network

COVID-19

The Medical School’s Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology has been selected to be one of four Capacity Building Centers as part of the Serological Sciences Network (SeroNet). They have received a $6.7 million grant for this effort. SeroNet is the nation’s largest coordinated effort to study the immune response to COVID-19. A story about this grant appears on the Medical School News website: U of M Medical School Selected as Capacity Building Center for National Lab Network.

Several MSI PIs are in the lab medicine and pathology department. MSI’s Research Informatics Solutions group includes staff members who are funded by the department to provide full-time informatics support for their research.
