Project Title:
Understanding the Effects of Blocking ADAM17 on NK Cell Gene Expression
Blocking the membrane protease ADAM17 on natural killer (NK) cells greatly increases their proliferative responce to cytokine stimulation. These studies are focused on determining the underlying mechanisms by which ADAM17 regulates NK cell proliferation and function. This includes assessing their gene expression profile to determine changes in NK cell subsets and cellular pathways, such as signaling and metabolism.
