The project will process a large dataset collected by location-aware devices to analyze individuals' movement in space across time and relate the discovered patterns to the underlying geographic environment and contexts. This includes but is not limited to:

• Manage and explore the raw dataset
• Assess the data quality and remove errors
• Examine spatial-temporal patterns of movement
• Relate the patterns to the underlying context

Later in the year, these researchers will begin working on a project on Transit Service Reliability that uses five years of GPS tracking data of transit vehicles. The group will soon receive the data for processing.
