Project Title:
Enhancement of System Architectures to Defend Side-Channel Attacks on Clouds
This research focuses on system architectural enhancement to fend off memory side-channel attacks on clouds. Multicore systems in cloud centers are prone to memory side-channel attacks. Meltdown and Spectre are two notorious examples. This research uses MSI's infrastructure to conduct time-consuming architectural simulations to evaluate various architectural enhancement schemes on multicores to defend such attacks.
