Project Title:
Neuromodulation for Movement Disorders
Neuromodulation techniques such as deep brain stimulation can be effective treatments for multiple movement disorders. This project aims to study the pathophysiology of movement disorders, e.g., Parkinson's disease and Essential Tremor, and the mechanisms underlying the therapeutic effect of deep brain stimulation, in order to advance the development of novel therapies.
