This project includes analysis of metagenome and genome data stored at MSI. This data is being analyzed for phylogenetic and metabolic aspects as it reveals to the human gut responses to different dietary practices. The overall goal is to identify microbes that promote beneficial immune responses and the dietary practices that modulate the gut microbiota to promote these microbes.
