This group is interested in extracting image and location information from light that is scattered of of a rough surface. This is sometimes called the "looking around corners" problem. The researchers use visible, long-wave infrared, and terahertz light to form images. Significant signal processing is required to retrieve images, often involving substantial computer resources.
