These researchers are continuing their use of many 3D datasets acquired for routine orthodontic care to:

• Develop rapid methods for registration and fusion of the various datasets to allow viewing and assessment as a whole
• Investigate a variety of visualization methods to understand which method best supports the clinician’s need to gain the most information in the shortest amount of time
• Use the fused images to support better education for clinicians in training and continuing education of practicing clinicians
