Dr. Chan Lan Chun

This group studies microbial ecology and develops bioremediation technologies in relation to water quality, nutrient cycling, and metal speciation. They apply metagenomic-based approaches to understanding microbial community structure and biodiversity in aquatic ecosystems as well as to better assessing changing environmental factors and anthropogenic influences upon such ecosystems' structure and function.
