Project Title:
Functional Genomics of Insect-Microbe Interactions

This group uses genomic data to understand the evolution and mechanisms of insect-microbe and insect-parasite interactions, with a focus on the bacterium Wolbachia. The researchers use a range of techniques including WGS, RNA-Seq, Bis-Seq, comparative genomics, phylogenetics and others to determine how these interactions evolve and are regulated.
