Software Description

RNAmmer is software for predicting ribosomal RNA in full gene sequences. To use this program at MSI, please send a a request to help@msi.umn.edu and ask to be added to the RNAmmer group. The use of RNAmmer at MSI is limited to academic researchers.

General Linux

To run this software interactively in a linux environment run the commands:

module load rnammer
rnammer [options] < [input file]

If you encounter the error: "rnammer: Command not found" or something similar, you are probably not part of the RNAmmer group. Please contact help@msi.umn.edu with a request to be added.
