Brief Bio:
Raychel has 14 years of systems and network administration experience, focused mainly on Linux but moderate experience with Windows and OS X. Her experience extends into many adjacent disciplines including systems and network security, storage platforms, virtualization, etc.
Major prior work includes:
- Fully virtualizing mid-size physical-system based datacenters

Designing and performing an in-service cutover for a midsize, multi-site, University campus network, including border routers and edge switching, to new fiber pathways and wireless deployments
Recently at MSI she has been focusing on:
- Developing high-performance shell scripts for filesystem analysis and data movement
- Reducing, simplifying, and eliminating legacy and complex "technical debt" systems
- Aligning MSI authentication with the University of Minnesota's current standards
