Professor Amy Skubitz PhD

The major focus of this research is to discover biomarkers that can be used for the early detection of ovarian cancer, or for markers that may have prognostic potential. The researchers use genomic and proteomic techniques with a variety of human biospecimens to discover new biomarkers as well as to validate them. They are also interested in other gynecological cancers, sarcomas, and other cancers, as well as the microbiome and metabolomics.
