Project Title:
2D Materials Electronics, Spintronics, and Plasmonics
This group is continuing their high standard research about the physical properties of 2D materials that covers electronic, optical, magnetic, and topological properties. In addition, they are extending their theoretical research into material systems beyond 2D, e.g., Weyl, Dirac semimetal, Chiral topological materials, and various 3D topological systems for applications in electronics and spintronics. They employ a wide range of multiphysics and multiscale tools both retrospectively (e.g. corroborating results to experiments) and prospectively (e.g. predicting new phenomena and finding solutions to open problems).
