Professor Kevin Dorfman

The Dorfman group works on a range of problems in the general area of polymer physics. Current work focuses on block copolymer phase behavior, block polymers at interfaces for recycling, field theoretic models of block polymer melts, interactions of cells with fiber matrices, and DNA dynamics in nanochannels and in bacteria. The researchers use a range of simulation techniques, including Monte Carlo methods, self-consistent field theory (SCFT), and molecular dynamics.
