Funannotate is a pipeline for genome annotation originally designed for use with fungi genomes, but it can also be applied for other eukaryotes.
In order to load Funannotate for interactive use on a Linux system, use the following command:
module load funannotate
It is highly recommended that you do not load in any other modules alongside Funannotate, as this can disrupt Funannotate's dependencies.
Please note that two of the dependencies of Funannotate are restricted-access software, for use by academic researchers only. In order to use Funannotate, contact help@msi.umn.edu and request access to SignalP4 and GeneMark-ET.
