This lab is interested in understanding mechanisms of somatic mutation signatures in tumor formation. The researchers have published research concerning somatic mutation landscapes, features of APOBEC3B, new methods to analyze Sleeping Beauty forward genetics screens in murine tumor models using both DNA sequencing and RNA sequencing, mutational mechanisms leading to metastasis, and comparative analysis of osteosarcoma gene expression in humans, dogs, and mice. They are close to publishing a large mammary tumor dataset.
