Project Title:
Swine Influenza A Virus Diversity and Evolution
This research focuses on the molecular diversity and evolution of swine influenza A virus. The researchers use complete genome amplification and next-generation sequencing technologies to study the diversity and evolution of the virus under experimental and field conditions.
This research was featured on the MSI website in June 2016: Determining Influenza A Virus Infections in Subpopulations of Pigs.
