Through a more complete understanding of the flow conditions that occur around the aortic valve, it will eventually be easier for doctors and engineers to reproduce an adequate substitution for aortic valves on an individual-needs basis. In this project, an accompanying CFD model of the stenotic aortic valves will be made for research purposes with ANSYS. This ANSYS Fluent simulation, which will include the aorta and valve leaflets, is cutting-edge research.
