Dr. Jennifer Powers

This group's work focuses on many aspects of ecosystem and restoration ecology in Costa Rican tropical dry forests. An example of how MSI resources are used is running statistical analyses in R focusing on determining how the traits of tree species can be used to predict the effectiveness of restoration projects. The group is also using MSI resources to process satellite imagery to map the seasonality of tree vegetation in tropical forests.
