Project Title:
Resquencing Analysis of Camelina sativa and Thlaspi arvense (Pennycress)
This group is performing whole-genome sequencing of camelina and pennycress mutants (Camelina sativa and Thlaspi arvense), an estimated 1,000 genomes per year. This research is performed largely within the framework of the Forever Green Initiative, whose goal is to develop new crops that can provide a year-long cover on the landscape.
This group's research was featured on the MSI website in October 2019: Domesticating Pennycress.
