Project Title:
Antigen-Presenting Myeloid Cells

This group performs research focused on the immunoregulatory network governing antigen-presenting myeloid cells in steady-state and disease. The aim is to delineate the intracellular molecular cues that direct innate and adaptive immune responses to differentially elicit immunity vs. tolerance against intracellular vs. extracellular pathogen threats. They are also discerning how defects in these molecular mechanisms lead to autoimmune or immunodeficiency disorders.
