Project Title:
Nanophotonics
This group designs and fabricates nanoscale photonics devices to enable strong light matter interaction. In particular, the investigate optomechanical, opto-magnetic, and optoelectronic effects in novel device and material systems. They have been exploring the optoelectronic properties of new materials including 2D materials, magnetic materials, and topological insulators. They also develop new photonic devices as probes for neuromodulation and bio-sensing.
