Dr. Kwok Yin Victor Lai Lai

This research group's focus is on biomechanics and biotransport through biological soft tissues. Specifically, they have a collaborative project with Essentia Health to develop a realistic heart model to test cardiovascular implants. The group is using MSI for access to software such as MIMICS and MATLAB. A second collaborative project with the Medical School at University of Minnesota Duluth involves the study of Lyme disease and the interactions between the bacteria with the immune cells.
