Project Title:
Aging, Individual Differences, and Genomics

The purpose of this research is to quantify the relative contributions of genetic, epigenetic, and expression loci to the process of aging and individual difference phenotypes involved in health and behavioral functioning. Using raw DNA polymorphism, epigenetic marker, and expression marker genomewide array data, the researchers aim to quantify the relative variance in aging attributable to the three types of genomic variables, and to identify particular loci involved in aging and functioning. They also aim to replicate existing findings in the literature on related phenomena.
