Professor Ju Sun

These researchers work at the intersection of machine/deep learning, computer vision, numerical optimization, and medical imaging. Their current focus is to build computational and theoretical foundations for deep learning, as well as applying deep learning to solve difficult scientific, engineering, and medical problems in physics, scientific imaging, and medical imaging. The group's projects often entail processing of massive amount of images or texts, and hence large-scale computation is an intrinsic part.
