Role of lncRNA in Polycystic Kidney Disease
The role of long-noncoding RNA in Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) has not been examined. These researchers combined RNA-sequencing data from different mouse models of PKD to discover common deregulated lncRNA in PKD. They have identified several pathologic lncRNA and are in the process of examining the biological role and function of the identified lncRNA in vivo in the mouse.
