Professor Dennis Hejhal

Work during 2024 consists of testing of prototypical programs aimed at calculating zeros of certain L-functions , L(s,\phi), associated with automorphic forms \psi over GL(m,K),  where K is an algebraic number field of degree n over the rationals and  n  is comparatively large. To become feasible, access to a high performance machine with massively parallel capabilities is needed.  These prototyical programs are experimental and success is likely to be elusive.
