Infectious Disease Ecology

These researchers are using MSI for four projects:

  • Running mixed models for the prevalence of rabies across the U.S. eastern seaboard, and machine learning models relating contact network structure to the spread of disease
  • Running simulations of network data for statistical analyses, generating contact networks from wild rodent capture data, and using permutation tests to simulate random networks and compare them to observed networks
  • Running individual based models of disease spread in heterogeneous host populations
  • Running white-tailed deer movement models
